As with all Briarfield locations, our memory care spaces are custom designed to meet the needs of our residents. We ensure that living spaces, residential rooms, and common areas are all created larger to maximize the physical activity and communal engagement residents experience. We also understand that memory disorders exist on a spectrum, ranging from short term memory deficits and slight cognitive impairment, to impact on a person’s ability to walk, talk and eat. Briarfield custom designs every aspect of care to meet your loved ones needs, whether they be assistive or therapeutic to ensure that your loved ones needs are met in a compassionate and safe environment.
ACCOMMODATIONS
Residents in Briarfield’s memory care services benefit from unique routines to maximize comfort and engagement in daily activities. Briarfield provides this with custom programming that can include music therapy, reminiscence therapy, and strategies to engage longterm memory that can restore a resident’s sense of self and identity. At Briarfield, we go above and beyond to ensure the security of all residents, with the latest in monitoring, call, and security systems. In every sense, you can have the peace of mind that your loved one is always looked after.

From therapists to dietitians, nurses to social workers — Briarfield is home to many senior care providers who have chosen to spend their career with us. For our memory care services, staff are provided ongoing training in dementia and Alzheimer’s disease care. Our staff design customized plans of care that engage your loved one, and regularly screen residents to ensure that the best services and programming are provided to meet any need.
